The USE Phase includes all the work required to transition the final deliverable(s) to the appropriate stakeholders. Often neglected, this important phase ensures the final deliverables are operational for the users and customers.

In this phase you install the software, setup the hardware, move customers into the facility or, sometimes, it's as simple as handing them the product. You will want to ensure they receive the final deliverables, accept them using the criteria established in the WHAT phase, and sign-off their acceptance. Although this is the simplest of the phases it is critical to your perceived success. This is your final opportunity to make things right and have a happy customer, not just a finished project. If any problems or defects are identified this time is spent making things right.

The Project Ball System includes the templates, action steps, quality checklists, FAQ, and a list of tips for completing the actions of this phase.
